A 15 year old schoolgirl from London is beginning a five and a half year jail term after being found guilty of  the abduction and systematic rape of Formula One legend Kimi Raikkonen over a period of 8 months beginning in April 2012.

 

The court heard that the girl, who cant be named for legal reasons, groomed the 33 year old year Finn over the internet after allegedly becoming infatuated with the ex-world champion when she heard him tell the BBC's Martin Brundle that he was "having a shit" during a presentation ceremony for Michael Shumacher in 2008.

 

Over the months leading up to her arrest, the youngster repeatedly forced herself on the driver, sometimes having torrid romps with him immediately after races, admitting that she made him keep his helmet and fireproof underwear on because "he smelled all sweaty and oily and that"

 

Justice Alfred Hynes, presiding, told the girl "You are quite clearly an extremely cunning and manipulative sexual predator from whom no race driver is safe, not even Fernando Alonso, and I'm compelled to hand down the maximum term allowed for these offences.

 

Raikkonen's mother Heidi, 108, spoke to reporters outside Snaresbrooke Crown Court. "I'm so relieved that justice has been done at last. Hopefully Kimi will be able to rebuild his life and return to being the fun loving, happy, contented boy he was before this evil girl stole his innocence."

 

 A spokesperson for Raikkonen's Lotus Formula One team said last night that the driver was unavailable for comment as he was "having a slash round the back of the motor home."
