Editor Of Satirical Magazine Given Reassurances By Extremists

Clive Danton - January 2015

The editor of the London-based, Soz Satire satirical magazine, Clivey Dee, has been contacted by representatives from the two major Muslim extremist groups, Islamic State and Al Qaida, who have given assurances that his personal safety is not under threat.

In two separate emails received yesterday, the jihadists insisted that they had no quarrel with him personally because they had heard "so many good things about him" and that he was obviously "a devout and upright man of God" They did stipulate however, that contributors to the magazine, or those who choose to 'like' any of the snippets posted on the Soz-associated blogs, Soz Satire and The League Of Mental Men, would be sought out and 'slaughtered like dogs' for their tacit agreement with the perceived anti-Islamic stance of some of the articles.

They named a number of prime targets for assassination, including: Gerald "Inchcock" Chambers, Michael "Hadleigh" Steeden, Sir Garfield Hoadley MBE, Gary Moore (deceased) and Lennard "Lenny" Van Ree.

MI6 have been informed of the threats and have promised to address themselves to the issue at some vague, unspecified point in the future or 'whenever they've got a spare minute'.

Dee, 16, told waiting reporters outside the magazine's East London headquarters: "It's extremely reassuring to know that I'm not going to be martyred on the altar of free speech and freedom of expression and I'm going to the pub to celebrate"

When asked to voice any concerns he may have about his writing staff, he replied: "They can join me later if they want, but they can buy their own bloody lager"
