Skyfall actor, and screen heartthrob, Daniel Craig, has hotly denied rumours that he has links with an internet cross-dressing ring, despite being snapped by paparazzi in a notorious Bradford  night club frequented by members of the transvestite community. He was reported to have been singing Lily Marlene, dressed in full drag, and was later seen cavorting in a shadowy corner of the club with a Fern Britton impersonator.

When confronted by reporters he rushed into the ladies toilets and locked himself in a cubicle where he could be heard sobbing, and shouting "Go away and just leave me alone"

His agent issued a statement last night. "These scurrilous rumours about Daniel are errant nonsense, and we'll be seeking legal redress in due course" When shown a photograph of Craig in women's scanties he looked momentarily taken aback and exclaimed "Bloody hell, he's even uglier as a woman than he is as a bloke, and that's saying something believe you me!"

Craig was last night said to be staying at the home shared by TV presenters, and confirmed heterosexuals, Ant and Dec, in Deptford, South East London
